CT Technologist

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging, including a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care. Provides excellent customer service Demonstrates technical competence Acts with a sense of urgency Pro-actively contributes to organizational excellence Demonstrates effective stewardshipContinuously challenges status quo Job Requirements High School Graduate or GED Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program Medical Radiographer: CA Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT Current BLS through American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety. Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS Preferred One (1) year experience as a CT/Radiologic Technologist Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment Where You'll Work Dignity Health Medical Foundation, established in 1993, is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation with care centers throughout California.
