CT Technologist

Location: Enloe Medical Center, Chico, CA Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Department: CT Imaging Schedule: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 (Available for both new graduates and experienced candidates) Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray examinations. Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous (IV) contrast injections. Prepare patient rooms, equipment, medications, and supplies. Ensure image quality while following radiation safety and quality assurance standards. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ARRT Standards of Ethics and Enloe Medical Center policies. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting departmental service excellence. Qualifications Education & Experience Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist. Diagnostic X-ray experience preferred. Two years of diagnostic X-ray experience and one year of CT experience are desirable. Licensure & Certifications Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license. Current CPR/BLS certification. ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy Permit must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Advanced CT certification, ARRT certification, Contrast Media/Venipuncture certification, and California Fluoroscopy Permit are preferred. Required Skills Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning. Experience with CT imaging, radiation safety, and quality assurance. Ability to administer IV contrast media safely. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork. Salary Range: $104,000 – $141,000 annually Updated Pay Range: $50.50 – $68.18/hour Maximum Starting Rate: $52.45/hour (based on applicable experience) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 Full-time benefits package.
