Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including prior travel nursing experience. The RN will provide high-quality care in a 29-bed unit specializing in orthopedic and medical-surgical patients, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.

Shifts and Scheduling

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)

No on-call duties

Floating to other areas as needed

Charge RN shifts may be required as needed

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an orthopedic and medical-surgical unit.

Monitor and assess patients, including telemetry monitoring.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.

Assist patients with rehabilitation and physical therapy in a dedicated gym on the unit.

Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.

Prior travel nursing experience is required.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Charge RN experience is required.

Patient Population

The unit serves a high-volume patient population, including individuals receiving care for total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties. Additionally, the unit accommodates moderate volumes of patients undergoing various surgical procedures and medical observation.
