Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests. Process payments, including room charges, deposits, and refunds, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation options. Resolve guest concerns effectively and escalation issues when necessary. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, payments, and interactions in the property management system (PMS). Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities such as dining options and event spaces. Follow safety and security protocols, verifying identification and monitoring for suspicious activity. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer‑facing experience in hospitality, retail, or food service. Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on delivering exceptional service. Familiarity with computers and software systems, especially reservation or PMS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience handling guest complaints or resolving conflicts calmly and effectively. Capability to manage multiple tasks such as answering phones, handling reservations, and assisting guests simultaneously. Hospitality or front desk experience (preferred).
