Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA.

What You'll Do

• Labor & Delivery Leadership Management: Manage births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives and support an active, high‑acuity L&D unit.
• OBED / Triage: Evaluate all non‑labor patients presenting to OBED triage. Admit and manage all unassigned ("no doc") patients when needed.
• Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform GYN procedures and GYN surgeries as needed, ensuring smooth and timely inpatient care.
• High‑Risk Obstetrics Collaboration: Partner closely with Maternal‑Fetal Medicine to care for high‑risk antepartum patients.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified/eligible OB/GYN Physician

• Guaranteed 12‑hour shifts (day and night with a nighttime differential)
• Full‑time equivalence: 13 shifts per 28 days
• Compensation:
• 1.0 FTE Day Shift: $400,000
• 1.0 FTE Night Shift: $460,000
• Additional productivity bonus
• $50,000 Sign‑on bonus
• Relocation assistance of up to $20,000
• Residency stipend up to $3,000 per month
• Forgivable loan of up to $200,000
• PSLF eligible
