Supervisor, MCED Laboratory - Weekend AM

Abbott seeks a laboratory supervisor to oversee weekend morning operations at a Madison diagnostic facility. The role manages laboratory staff, ensures regulatory compliance, maintains quality standards, and directs day-to-day clinical laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise laboratory staff and provide on-site technical consultation
Ensure laboratory compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
Oversee quality management program and monitor test performance standards
Evaluate and document staff competency through direct observation and assessments
Review equipment and supply needs and monitor usage against budget

Requirements

Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and clinical laboratory regulations
Laboratory supervision and staff management experience
Technical expertise in clinical laboratory testing procedures
Demonstrated ability to maintain budgets and manage expenses
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Ability to work Saturday through Monday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM onsite
