Corporate Real Estate Sr. CAPEX Project Manager Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States Overview This role leads complex capital design and construction projects for Hitachi Energy’s corporate real‑estate portfolio, running initiatives from pre‑planning through closeout to support the power grid industry’s evolving needs. Responsibilities Manage all phases of corporate real estate construction projects, from pre‑planning through completion and post‑completion activities. Develop project plans, timelines, scope documents, budgets and risk‑management approaches to deliver projects on time and within approved financials. Oversee 3rd‑party firms and internal contributors, defining tasks, motivating progress, and maintaining project milestones. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the key contact and escalation point for all project‑related matters. Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with building codes, safety rules, company policies, and project specifications. Conduct studies, investigations, and data research to support project choices, improvements, and financial evaluations. Prepare capital investment budgets, future project pricing, and required approvals through internal tools and processes. Align project plans with corporate sustainability aims and organizational goals. Qualifications Candidate must have work authorization permitting employment in the United States. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 15+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven abilities in project or program execution, especially in construction or capital project environments. Proficiency with financial processes related to construction and capital projects, including asset amortization and accounts payable processes in a shared‑service setting. Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and collaboration platforms. Advanced abilities using Microsoft Project or similar project‑management tools. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction‑related tools, along with reporting tools that support project oversight. Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Travel Role will be onsite either Atlanta, GA or Crystal Springs, MS, with 50‑60% travel in the southeastern United States. Benefits Attractive health and retirement benefits.
