The work performance expectations consist of:
- Safety for you and your coworkers and the product you handle.
- Working 10 hours a day.
- Working some off Mondays or some Saturdays.
- Long periods of standing, walking and/or sitting.
- Able to kneel, squat, bend down, stretch, walk, climb stairs and ladders and carry materials repeatedly through the day.
- Lifting items weighing up to 39 pounds and asking for help for items 40 pounds and above.
- Wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Constant use of computers and iPads or other electronic handheld devices.
- Operating powered forklifts or unpowered pallet jacks.
- Highly accurate workmanship with great attention to details and double-checking to ensure accuracy.
- Capable of fine motor/manual dexterity, strong grip and repetitive movements and tasks.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers.
- Constantly reviews written processes and communicates suggestions to improve efficiency.
- Through good housekeeping habits, candidate reviews practices and communicates suggestions to avoid and eliminate accidents and safety violations.
- Constantly aware of surroundings and reports any suspicious security activity.
- Responsible for safeguarding Company and Government owned property while being handled and/or stored.
