Chief Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. • Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards. • Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence. • Inspect and evaluate building systems to identify required maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades. Qualifications: • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience. • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software systems. Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
