Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Attorney focused on civil law to serve individual clients. This role involves managing a caseload with more than 30 cases, providing expert legal guidance, and representing clients regularly in court. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling complex legal matters ranging from negotiation to litigation strategy while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case development
- Consult with individual clients to assess and address their legal needs
- Manage a heavy caseload, ensuring timely and effective case progression
- Draft legal documents clearly and accurately
- Represent clients in court regularly and occasionally
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Provide compliance advice in civil law matters
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
- Review contracts and perform due diligence
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5+ years in legal practice
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- State Bar Admission
- Experience in litigation and negotiation
- Strong critical thinking skills
