PRN Occupational Therapist (OT)
Shenandoah Senior Living Community Shenandoah Senior Living Community is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and compassionate rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide meaningful, resident-centered therapy services within a warm, supportive, skilled nursing environment. As an OT, you'll help residents regain or maintain independence in their daily activities through thoughtful, client-centered care. - Evaluate and treat residents to enhance engagement in meaningful daily activities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on functional goals
- Teach techniques to support safety and independence in ADLs and IADLs
- Recommend adaptive equipment and train residents and caregivers on its use
- Assess living environments and provide recommendations for modifications
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and family members for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress
- Monitor and adjust care plans as needed
- Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
- Supportive interdisciplinary team
- Electronic documentation system
- Ethical, patient-first care environment
