About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its organization, which is dedicated to advocating for policies that support innovation and ensure access to life-changing therapies for patients with rare diseases. The successful candidate will be a visionary and transformational leader with a minimum of 10 years' of senior-level executive management experience, particularly in the biopharmaceutical or related sectors. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strategy development and execution, influence, advocacy, and relationship building. This role demands a politically savvy individual with a strong background in communication, including public speaking, and a proven track record in team building and staff management. The Executive Director will work closely with the Executive Committee to drive the organization's mission, engage with key stakeholders, and maintain the fiscal health and integrity of the organization. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a deep understanding of the business model and policy implications related to drug development and rare diseases. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying new opportunities and challenges, driving revenue to support the organization's objectives, and ensuring the organization's relevance and impact. The role also involves overseeing operational activities, managing a budget, and ensuring legal compliance.
