Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in South Dennis, MA at an outpatient clinic and provide rehabilitation for patients recovering from injury and managing chronic conditions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation, plan of care development, and functional treatment planning. Experience with documentation requirements including goal writing, functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies. Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and to participate in student clinical education as assigned. Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices. Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. Preferred: prior experience in outpatient clinics with productivity expectations and experience using electronic medical record systems commonly used in outpatient therapy settings. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Duration: 13 week assignment. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Positions Available: 1 position. Start: Assignment begins in May.
