Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Join our team at Capital City Family Medicine, where we provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will support individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and healthcare needs. We are seeking caring, empathetic professionals who are dedicated to delivering inclusive, high-quality care for every patient. Schedule: Opportunities available from 0.7 to 0.9 FTE. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedules vary by role and provider assignment and may include four 9-hour shifts, evening clinic coverage, flexible scheduling, and occasional weekend rotations.What You Can Expect:Provide direct patient care and clinical support, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with procedures, administering medications within scope of practice, and maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record.Coordinate care and serve as a patient advocate for vulnerable and complex patient populations, helping patients navigate healthcare services, referrals, follow-up care, and community resources.Support population health initiatives through panel management, quality metric monitoring, care gap closure, and other quality improvement activities.Collaborate closely with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to promote continuity of care and improve patient outcomes.Deliver compassionate, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care while building trusting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.CMA QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentCurrent BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHALPN QualificationsGraduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing ProgramCurrent BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of PracticeWhat's In It For YouAt St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
