Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Assistant I - Underwriting to join our team in Broomfield, Colorado. This is an entry-level position with the potential for growth into other roles. The ideal candidate will work on underwriting tasks such as binds, endorsements, cancellations, and email triage within a shared inbox. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week, with Thursday as the anchor day. Training will be provided, and work will be reviewed until the candidate gains authority.

Responsibilities:

• Perform entry-level underwriting tasks, including binds, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Manage and triage emails within a shared inbox.
• Work from a queue and Outlook book to complete tasks efficiently.
• Participate in side-by-side training and complete fully reviewed work until authority is gained.
• Support the team with various administrative and underwriting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Entry-level experience; insurance industry background is a plus.
• Experience working in a production environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to fit into a diverse team and work independently.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Dedication and a self-sufficient work ethic.

Pay Range: $24-25
