Marketing & Outreach Assistant

Responsive recruiter Shine of Tysons is looking for an energetic, dependable Marketing & Outreach Assistant to help us connect with homeowners and local businesses throughout Northern Virginia. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is comfortable talking to people, likes being out and about, and wants to gain experience in marketing, sales, and business development. You don't need extensive sales experience we'll provide the targets, materials, scripts, and direction. We need someone who can consistently execute and isn't afraid to start conversations.

Your day may include:

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers and businesses
• Re-engaging previous leads and customers
• Following up with older estimates and inquiries
• Sending and scheduling pre-written SMS campaigns
• Delivering marketing materials to targeted local businesses
• Distributing door hangers in specifically selected neighborhoods
• Introducing Shine to businesses and potential referral partners
• Keeping track of outreach and follow-ups
• Helping keep our lead pipeline active and organized

This is a mix of office/phone work and local field outreach you won't be sitting behind a desk all day.

• Friendly and comfortable talking to new people
• Confident enough to make cold calls or walk into a local business
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Organized and good at following instructions
• Comfortable using basic computer and phone applications
• Motivated by goals and performance bonuses
• Positive and persistent when someone says "not right now"
• Interested in learning more about marketing, sales, or business development

Previous sales or marketing experience is helpful, but not required. Compensation Starting at base hourly + opportunities to earn performance bonuses based on qualified leads and results.

About Shine of Tysons Shine of Tysons provides professional exterior cleaning and property services to homeowners and businesses throughout Northern Virginia. Our services include window cleaning, house and building washing, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and additional exterior property services. We're looking for someone who can help us continue getting Shine in front of more homes, businesses, and potential customers throughout our community.
