Director of Finance and Operations

Onsite | Up to $130,000 Total Compensation A rapidly growing company in the property management/community association management industry is seeking a Director of Financial Operations to lead a high-performing accounting organization supporting a large portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations-minded accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence. This organization has experienced significant year-over-year growth and is looking for a leader who can balance strategic oversight with a willingness to roll up their sleeves when needed. What You\'ll Do Lead and mentor a team of accounting leaders overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting functions. Manage multiple accounting teams to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and on-time delivery of monthly financial reporting. Oversee the production and review of approximately 200 monthly financial statements across a diverse client portfolio. Ensure month-end close deadlines are consistently achieved while maintaining accuracy and quality. Drive operational improvements, streamline processes, and identify efficiencies across the accounting function. Support the onboarding and integration of new clients into accounting operations. Partner with leadership to establish departmental goals, improve workflows, and support continued organizational growth. Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as business needs evolve. What We\'re Looking For 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, audit, or accounting operations experience with leadership responsibilities. Experience leading teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment . Strong understanding of accounting principles with the ability to review work, identify issues, and coach teams (CPA not required). Background managing multiple client portfolios, multiple entities, or numerous month-end close processes is highly preferred. Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with attention to detail. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and thrive in a rapidly growing organization. Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Advanced degree is a plus. Why This Opportunity?
