About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key leader in the organization, providing both financial and operational support and playing a pivotal role in strategic and tactical decision-making. This hands-on leadership position requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will be responsible for all fiscal reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory laws, and will be a trusted business partner, helping to improve operations and drive financial performance. Candidates for the CFO role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or distribution industries, with at least 10 years in senior-level finance positions. Experience in a privately held or family-owned business is a plus. The CFO will be expected to have a proven track record in areas such as inventory management, WIP accounting, and BOM, and must possess an ownership mentality with a strong work ethic. The role demands a leader who is highly focused on execution, results-oriented, and has a proactive, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving. A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA being desirable. The ideal candidate will also have an accounting designation such as CPA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent, and experience in ERP systems implementation and integration.
