Outpatient Physical Therapist Position

Location: Hueytown, AL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shift, 8x schedule. 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Hueytown, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapy interventions for patients. Candidates who are new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain productivity expectations of 60 visits per week, averaging 12-14 patients per day.
• Coordinate care within the outpatient orthopedic clinic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.
• First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered.
