Finance Administrator - Cashier

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Finance Administrator - Cashier. In this position, the Finance Cashier is responsible for maintaining the monetary fund's of the resort, issuing and receiving all cashier's banks, processing of all deposits on a daily basis, auditing banks regularly, preparing reliable daily financial information and communicating all omissions and deviations to appropriate management.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Cash Short/Over Reports on a daily, monthly and yearly basis, and advise management on material variances in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain a complete record of all funds transferred to and from the bank.
• Ensure adequate control on the General Cashier's fund in accordance with resort standards.
• Ensure that all cashier's operating equipment is in good condition and working order (cash drawers, cashier vaults, credit card equipment, etc.) if applicable.
• Maintain adequate inventory of cashier supplies, including deposit envelopes, credit card vouchers, and other printed materials.
• Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Micros System and cash register equipment experience helpful.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Prior cash handling is required.
