Shift Availability for Healthcare Cook: Full-time 10am-7pm, 9am-5:30pm Every other Weekend. Every other Holiday. Pay ranging from $17-23 per hour Benefits of Healthcare Cook position: Generous paid time off, including additional holiday pay. Qualifications of Healthcare Cook: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, restaurant, senior living, or food service environment preferred Ability to prepare a variety of foods in large quantities while maintaining quality and consistency Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices required Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment Strong communication and teamwork skills required Culinary education or formal culinary training preferred but not required Experience with therapeutic diets, texture-modified diets, or senior dining preferred but not required Must take pride in food quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction At Pleasant View, we are committed to providing the best care and service to our residents and our team.
