Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a vital role supporting patients in neonatal and pediatric critical care environments as a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized respiratory care across the NICU and PICU while collaborating with dedicated clinical teams. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality outcomes for vulnerable patient populations.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotated weekends

Qualifications:

• Active credential as a Respiratory Therapist; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Minimum of one year experience in both NICU and PICU settings
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to start as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care units
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients using advanced ventilatory support and airway management techniques
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff in the NICU and PICU
• Respond efficiently to patient emergencies and assist in resuscitation and code situations
• Accurately document patient assessments, therapy plans, and clinical responses
• Educate and support families regarding respiratory conditions and interventions

$2,200 - $2,319/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
