Project Manager - Contract

Lewis James Professional is a woman‑owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Strategic Sourcing for a contract opportunity with a financial services client. Responsibilities Coordinate high‑volume contract lifecycle activities associated with merger integration initiatives. Scope is high‑volume technology vendor contracts. Track and coordinate integrations, renegotiations due to increased volume, and decommission work. Act as the central coordination point between sourcing, legal, vendor management, technology, compliance, and finance. Manage high volumes of vendor contracts and sourcing requests through various stages using SharePoint and Excel. Coordinate sourcing and procurement project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and internal stakeholder activities. Support Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, contract amendments, and termination tracking. Ensure required contract documentation and approvals are complete. Monitor milestones, project stages, vendor actions, and intake requests. Improve sourcing workflows and intake processes. Support vendor consolidation strategies and contract transition efforts. Qualifications 4+ years of project management, sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related coordination experience. Demonstrate strong organizational and tracking capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence progress and drive accountability diplomatically across internal teams. Experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives in complex environments. Comfortable working within evolving processes and loosely structured workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. Familiarity with Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, contract workflows, or vendor coordination is a plus. PMP certification is preferred but not required. Banking or financial services experience is not required; candidates from healthcare, government, military, or other regulated industries are encouraged to apply.
