Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Temple, Texas. This role involves supporting open-heart, vascular, and endovascular surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized surgical environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Location: Temple, TX
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
• Schedule: M-F, 1:00 PM 9:30 PM, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Shift: PM shift
• Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, starting 06/29/2026
• Certifications/Education: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2 years of experience in operating room settings with experience in open-heart, open vascular, and endovascular surgeries; currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Additional Information: Experience required in clinical judgment, clinical inquiry, caring practices, response to diversity, advocacy and moral agency, facilitation of learning, collaboration, systems thinking, and professionalism. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in medical terminology and general computer literacy.
• Float: Float rotation may be required only if called in.
• Travel: Yes, travel (Y) is involved.
• Note: Candidates should ensure their license is valid and present on the first day of employment.
