As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in a healthcare environment. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
