The HVAC Maintenance Technician will primarily work on residential HVAC systems as part of a small maintenance team. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of equipment through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely troubleshooting. The technician will engage directly with customers, support installations, and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential HVAC equipment for performance and safety
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce system failures
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues promptly
- Conduct necessary repairs and parts replacement
- Test HVAC systems after maintenance or repair to verify functionality
- Support installation teams as needed
- Adhere to safety compliance standards at all times
- Communicate professionally with customers about equipment status and service needs
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in HVAC system diagnostics and preventive maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Effective time management
