Cloud Engineer The Opportunity: Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement, and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review. You Have: Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS and Azure cloud environments, including security, automation, and scalability in an air gapped environment Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with platforms, application level, pipeline build and development, or automation to support build and testing Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and cloud networking configurations such as VPC peering, subnets, VPNs, and security groups Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates Secret clearance Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree Security+ Certification AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification Nice If You Have: Experience working in DoW or IC environments AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Google Professional Cloud Architect Certifications Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
