About Hospital: This is a 64-bed acute care hospital serving east Seminole County and surrounding communities. We offer a full range of healthcare services, including surgical inpatient units, intensive care, 24/7 emergency care, medical cardiology, telemetry, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women's services (including labor and delivery), comprehensive diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary services, and cardiac catheterization. Job Summary and Responsibilities:

• CT Tech performs a variety of technical procedures using computerized ionizing radiation to detect pathology. Responsibilities include:
• Operating CT equipment safely while maintaining A.L.A.R.A. (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards.
• Performing X-rays in the ER and department as needed, with proficiency in radiologic (X-ray) positioning.
• Participating in the establishment of scan protocols and executing specific applications.
• Administering contrast when necessary.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with staff, other departments, and medical personnel.
• Being available for on-call duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of CT experience required (acute care experience is not necessary).
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) certification preferred.
• State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).

Position Details: Salary Range: 2 years of experience: $32-34/hour 10+ years of experience: $37-38/hour Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 HL02
