Analyst I - Procurement

$3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. Final Filing Date: 5/26/2026 Job Summary Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager – Procurement, the Analyst I will perform less complex purchasing and contracting assignments, such as processing contracts and goods requests, handling contract amendments and funding strip changes, and providing consultative services to DSH staff regarding purchasing and contracting needs. Responsibilities Process contracts and goods requests. Handle contract amendments and funding strip changes. Provide consultative services on purchasing and contracting matters. Assist with procurement and purchasing activities as assigned. Minimum Requirements Meet the minimum qualifications as described in the Class Specification for Analyst I. Clearance of a Background Investigation. Medical Clearance prior to hiring. Desired Qualifications Experience using Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Experience working with fiscal documentation. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with organizing and filing systems. Experience processing or completing Purchase Orders. Working Conditions Employee may be required to work any shift and schedule throughout the hospital, may need to work overtime, and may float to other work locations as needed.
