Lucrative quarterly bonus structure — every 25 hours billed above 200 monthly hours generates additional bonus compensation. Extremely low attrition rate — only a handful of departures over the last 7 years, with multiple attorneys going on to become judges. No micromanagement culture — attorneys are trusted to manage their own workflow and are not overloaded with undesirable files. Founder is highly respected within the California workers’ compensation space and has contributed to California legislation. Handling workers’ compensation defense matters on behalf of self-insured entities and public sector-related clients. Managing files through all stages of litigation, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation. Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence. Attending remote hearings and occasional in-person appearances/trials as required. Working closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced but supportive environment. Prior workers’ compensation defense experience highly preferred, though the firm is open to candidates from adjacent litigation backgrounds. Must be located in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, Ventura preferred). Self-starter mentality with strong time management and organizational skills.
