Make a difference in the lives of middle and high school students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist working with grades 6–12. Your role involves working with an engaged caseload of approximately 50 students, collaborating with educators and families to deliver outstanding speech and language services. From completing assessments to managing IEPs, you’ll play an integral part in each student’s academic and personal achievement.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience in a school setting, especially supporting grades 6–12 (preferred but not required)
• Solid understanding of pediatric and adolescent speech-language disorders
• Confidence in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and monitoring student progress
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Genuine passion for fostering student growth in a diverse school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services onsite to students in grades 6–12
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop/discuss IEPs in collaboration with teams
• Track, document, and report progress toward student speech and language goals
• Engage with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and support
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative services as needed
