Project Manager, Market Insights

Opportunity This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life‑changing products that provide accurate data to drive better‑informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. What You’ll Work On Design and execute end‑to‑end primary market research projects, including identification of project objectives, research design, vendor selection and oversight, data analysis, insight generation, report development, and written and oral presentation. Collaborate with regional and global teams to execute brand health trackers (ATUs) that measure customer‑facing tactics and campaigns aligned to regional and global organizational goals. Develop and execute necessary learning plans focused on key metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of omnichannel marketing campaigns, distill insights, and craft a compelling narrative to create customer‑focused strategy and drive execution with regional and global teams. Develop deep knowledge of key market events, competitive environment, and changes in consumer and healthcare professional trends. Interpret data and provide relevant recommendations for business action. Understand the marketplace, competitor dynamics, and bring the voice of the customer and industry to life with business partners. Design appropriate research and analysis plans based on available research and analytical techniques. Leverage multiple sources of data and types of research to build conviction that drives action in our global markets. Find creative and compelling ways to generate, present, and evangelize results and recommendations throughout the company to help cultivate a highly informed, more effective, and more empathetic organization. Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage vendors on cost, timing, appropriateness of methodology, and actionability of conclusions. Manage company processes related to procurement, vendor management, compliance, and pharmacovigilance activities during market research execution. Display a positive, solutions‑based approach to all projects and work effectively in teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Five years or more of experience in custom primary market research. Expertise in qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies. Whole‑brain thinker who combines data with deep empathy and strong storytelling. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate dynamic project scopes. Strong project management and communication skills. Experience working with interdependent cross‑functional and global teams. Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required. Someone who approaches challenges with possibilities thinking and a learning mindset. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. SPSS preferred although not required. Compensation The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the posted range.
