Environmental Health Safety Trainer

We're Hiring: EHS Trainer – Long Island, NY 2SAFE Consulting, Inc. is growing, and we're looking for an energetic and engaging Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Trainer to join our team on Long Island. Pay: $85,000 annually Responsibilities Deliver EHS training programs, including OSHA 10/30, Hazard Communication, Forklift Safety, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, CPR/First Aid/AED, and other safety-related topics Conduct safety audits, inspections, and workplace assessments Assist with the development of written safety programs and procedures Support incident investigations and corrective action recommendations Build and maintain positive relationships with clients across various industries Travel to client locations throughout the New York City boroughs and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties) Maintain accurate training, inspection, and project documentation Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices to support client compliance efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred Prior safety training experience required Strong presentation and communication skills OSHA 30-Hour Certification required (or ability to obtain) CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor certification is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply Valid driver's license and have access transportation required What We Offer Competitive compensation Opportunities for professional growth and development Exposure to a variety of industries and clients Collaborative and supportive team environment The opportunity to make a direct impact on workplace safety Benefits 401(k) Roth IRA Medical Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Professional Development Opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc
