We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.Job SummaryWe are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on various Roadway Transportation construction projects located in Riverside County. This position will be on-site and involves inspecting construction procedures and verifying that work completed by contractors is in accordance with contract documents for roadway and bridge projects.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Complete daily inspection reports.Perform inspection of foundation construction (pile driving/drilling).Complete bridge superstructure calculations utilizing four-scales.Perform inspection of falsework placement and removal.Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.Assure general compliance with standards and specifications.Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments.Accurately track change order work.Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.Other duties as needed.Qualifications (Including Education and/or Job Experience):Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar.5+ years of relevant experience with the concepts and practices within the highway and bridge construction field.Must have the ability to assist in the resolution of project issues effectively and efficiently.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.Additional InformationT.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $88,800 - $133,200 annually for this position and local market.
