The CNC Mill Machinist will independently handle the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to detailed blueprints. This role requires expertise in manual programming and operating pre-programmed CNC machines, along with a strong focus on quality inspection and tooling management. Reliable transportation is necessary to maintain consistent attendance, and occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC milling machines accurately for production runs
- Operate CNC Lathe machines using manual programming and pre-programmed instructions
- Select and manage tooling for various machining tasks
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Interpret blueprints and detailed technical drawings
- Maintain reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in machining
- Technical certificate or diploma in machining or manufacturing technology
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilled in machine setup and precision measurement
- Comprehensive tooling knowledge and machining techniques
- Effective problem-solving skills
