MRI Technologist – MRI

Schedule: Varied Afternoon/Day Shifts - 40 Hour Guarantee

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• 2+ years of MRI experience
• Siemens experience
• Associate degree
• Active MRI certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT)
• Active American Heart Association BLS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare scan room and patients for examinations.
• Draw up and administer IV contrast as needed; perform warm-up procedures on equipment.
• Conduct patient interviews to screen for contraindications and explain the MRI procedure to patients.
• Transport patients into examination rooms, assist in proper positioning, and ensure safety protocols during scans.
• Mark images properly regarding patient orientation and maintain accurate documentation for radiologist review.
• Prepare and organize exam records and images for efficient radiologist assessment.
