Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table.3rd shift: Friday, Sat, Sunday 6am-6:30pmAbout Your Role:As a Maintenance Technician I at Dollar Tree's Distribution Center, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment. You'll help ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Maintenance & Equipment Support:Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systemsTroubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devicesDiagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop)Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipmentInitiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiencyMaintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance departmentDocumentation & Communication:Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established proceduresCommunicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers to minimize equipment downtimeEnsure workmanship meets the highest quality standardsEquipment Operation:Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safelyMaintain a customer service-oriented approach while addressing technical issuesYour Required Skills and Experience:Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experienceHands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systemsAdvanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networkingAbility to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadershipWillingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidaysPreferred Requirements:Associate's degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experienceForklift troubleshooting and repair experience preferredExperience maintaining automated equipment in a distribution center environmentYour Perks and Benefits:Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement plans with matching contributionEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramEducational AssistanceAccess to PerkSpot, an employee discount platform for goods and servicesAnd much more!Who We Are:At Dollar Tree, we make a difference in the lives of our customers every day by exceeding their expectations and delivering value – it's what our business is built on.
