About This Role The Registered Nurse in Maternal Child Services at Hackensack Meridian Health provides individualized patient care in a collaborative environment. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and care plans with patients and healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family‑centered education for health optimization and disease management. Ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care during multi‑disciplinary discharges. Care for Labor and Delivery patients, Mother/Baby couplet care, and High Risk Antepartum care. Circulate in the Operating Room and provide Newborn Nursery Care. Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Minimum of 1 year maternal child services experience in a hospital setting. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required. BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire. ACLS preferred, must obtain within 6 months. NRP preferred, must obtain within 6 months.
