Night Auditor

About the Role: V2 Capital Shelton LLC Hotel Group is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our team in Shelton, CT. Responsibilities: Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, tax postings, and daily revenue reconciliation Balance and verify front desk accounts, cash drawers, and point-of-sale systems Greet and assist overnight guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction Prepare and distribute daily financial reports for management review Monitor hotel security and safety during overnight hours, escalating issues as needed Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure smooth shift transitions Requirements: Previous experience in hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality operations preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) a plus Ability to work independently overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays Excellent communication and guest service skills Basic math and accounting knowledge required Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor About Us: V2 Capital Shelton LLC Hotel Group is a hospitality-focused organization committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in the Shelton, CT area.
