People • Customers • Trust Role Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrical/Mechanical) Packaging Corporation of America 8489 Summit Cove Olive Branch, MS 38654 Responsibilities This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Olive Branch, MS. It will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills. Basic Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. 5+ years' experience of electromechanical experience. A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades. Initially on first shift, working 10–12 hour shifts. As the plant grows, maintenance technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change. Be Authorized to work in the US. Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range = $32.37 - $34.59 per hour based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience. Starting salary for position: $32.37 - $34.59 per hour. Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics. Paid Vacation: Two weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. 11 Paid Holidays. PCA provides hand tools through stipends or replacements for basic tools; special and heavy tools are provided by PCA. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools; PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.
