Mammography Technologist - Women's Diag Center - Full-Time - Days

Job Description:

1. PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform radiographic mammograms, breast localizations and stereotactic procedures, as required by the Mammography technologist position.

1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintain clinical competency in the Mammography technologist position requirements.

2. Provide patient care for all of our patients/customers by performing procedures prescribed by a physician.

3. Compile and maintain patient records and department schedules.

4. Knowledge of the PAC's system, review workstations and computer systems.



Job Qualifications:

V. QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.

ARRT certification in Mammography within one year of hire

1. Experience: Prior experience and training in use of dedicated mammography unit.

1. Other Skills: Good Communication and customer service skills.

Current BLS certification
