Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department RN

Schedule: 3x12 nights (1900–0730) with every other weekend and holiday required.

Assignment Details: Typical patient ratios: 4 patients per RN. Expected visits: ~122 per day.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Trauma center experience (Level I/II) preferred.
• Active state RN or compact license accepted.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; TNCC strongly preferred.
• Must have EPIC charting system experience.
• Key clinical skills: telemetry interpretation, airway management, IV/vasopressor management, and trauma care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage critical situations effectively and respond to emergency codes.
• Perform advanced procedures as required in the emergency setting.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Compliance / Notes: Eligible candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility. Attendance policies are strict; more than one call-off may lead to termination. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
