Job Duties

Provides clerical and administrative support. Maintains filing systems, copies, and distributes materials, and purges inactive files. Performs keyboarding duties, entering data into forms, documents, and agency data systems. Produces administrative reports and correspondences.

This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 month period of May 1 - April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

Recent experience providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel to accomplish office support requirements. Working knowledge of a multi-line communication system. Experience in filing or record keeping or data entry.

Additional Considerations

Advanced knowledge and training in office administration, supported by coursework and hands-on experience providing clerical and administrative support within a correctional environment and comparable high-security or structured settings
