Tax Manager

DescriptionKforce's client, a NYC based holding company, is seeking Tax Manager to join their tax team. This client offers outstanding compensation, minimal overtime and hybrid work options.Summary:As a Tax Manager, you will have the privilege of working in the nucleus of a multi-billion-dollar company, tackling complex and elaborate tax issues. You will have the opportunity to be surrounded by and be able to work with top consultants and legal counsel.Key Responsibilities:* Tax Manager will assist with the preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and local tax filings for S-Corporation, Partnerships, Fiduciary, and C-Corporations* Assist with the preparation and review of international tax forms and filings* Provide support on tax examinations/audits initiated by various jurisdictions* Investigate and resolve tax notices received* Assist with the quarterly and year-end tax provision process, including calculating book/tax differences, analyzing effective tax rate, etc.Requirements* 6+ years of tax experience, preferably at a public accounting firm* Must have a background in S-Corporation and Individual Tax* Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Proficient in Excel and MS Word* Must be self-motivated and a quick learnerPreferred Skills:* Master's degree in Taxation preferred* CPA License preferred* Background in Partnership, Corporate, International and Gift Tax Experience preferred* Familiarity with QuickBooks and ProSystem FX is desiredJob TypeDirect HireCompensation123250 - $166750
