Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support badge access operations. You may also conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and related security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, and other sensitive locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, observations, and security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and designated access points, noting any maintenance, hazard, and/or operational issues that may need attention.
• Support visitor management, vehicle screening, and delivery processing by documenting arrivals and departures, communicating with site contacts, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
