Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol TWIC in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential hazards at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
