Prava is powering therapist-owned practices inside senior living communities, and we're looking for a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join one of our Practice Owners. This isn't a traditional PTA position. You're joining someone who is building something. One community. Three levels of living. A different way to practice. You'll work across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care , building relationships with residents and becoming part of the community. You'll have the opportunity to see the full picture of senior living therapy—not just a diagnosis or a treatment session. Maybe it's helping an Independent Living resident maintain the strength and confidence to stay active. Maybe it's helping an Assisted Living resident safely navigate their daily routine. Maybe it's working with a Memory Care resident on mobility, transfers, or participation in something that matters to them. The goal isn't simply to complete therapy. It's to help people keep doing what makes their lives theirs. Go Where the Function Is. We don't just work bankers' hours. Because residents don't live bankers' hours. Sometimes the most meaningful mobility work happens: Before dinner Walking to an activity Practicing a transfer during a real routine Navigating the community Building confidence in the environment where someone actually lives We go where the function is. Your Role You'll have the opportunity to: Provide individualized PT interventions under the direction of the Physical Therapist Work with residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Address gait, balance, strength, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility Practice mobility in the environments where residents actually live Build relationships with residents, families, and care teams Partner with the Practice Owner to support the clinical program Carry therapy strategies into residents' everyday routines Contribute to a practice that is becoming part of the community - not simply visiting it We're Looking for a PTA Who: Loves working with older adults Builds relationships naturally Believes mobility is about participation - not just distance Is comfortable working across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Is curious, collaborative, and self-directed Wants to practice in a community where their clinical voice matters Is excited by a therapy model that doesn't look like every other therapy model You Don't Need to Be an Entrepreneur.
