We need you to join our winning team at Sprouts Farmers Market. Responsibilities Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit. Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork. Supervise the Deli team, including ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and hiring, training, and development. Operate, maintain, and ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations. Unload and sort store deliveries and maintain deli equipment. Enable a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Stand, lift, and carry product up to 70 lbs. for up to eight hours per shift. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age with at least 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service. Flexible schedule ability: nights, weekends, holidays. Strong written and verbal communication and team collaboration skills. Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and customer interaction. Proven leadership ability to motivate staff and analyze margin reports and financial goals. Detail focus, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Food Safety certification and knowledge of federal, state, and company regulations. Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills. Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to four hours horizontally and vertically. Stand continuously up to four hours, total eight hours per shift. Operate essential equipment such as slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Benefits Competitive pay: $17.65–$26.45 per hour based on experience.
