Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Role Summary

At Complete Care at Maple Grove , the Housekeeping and Laundry Aide is an essential member of our frontline environmental services team. You are responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, fresh, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

This role requires a unique balance of meticulous cleanliness standards, efficiency, and compassion. Working directly within our residents' home environment, you serve as a vital guardian of their comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity.

Environmental Services / Housekeeping

• Sanitation & Cleaning: Execute high-standard cleaning in resident bedrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, nursing stations, and common spaces (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning, and disinfecting).

• Waste Management: Ensure proper trash and biohazard disposal following facility-specific protocols to maintain a sterile, safe environment.

• Supply & Cart Maintenance: Keep housekeeping carts and supply closets stocked, locked, and organized in accordance with safety standards.

Laundry Services

• Linen & Garment Care: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident personal clothing and facility bed/bath linens according to proper sanitary guidelines.

• Stain & Fabric Treatment: Treat stains appropriately and ensure delicate items are laundered with care.

• Resident Wardrobe Management: Deliver clean, folded personal laundry to resident rooms and organize items neatly in closets/drawers.

Safety & Resident Care

• Resident Rights & Privacy: Strictly comply with Residents’ Rights and HIPAA policies. Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding resident personal information and health status.

• Safety & Infection Control: Adhere to all health, infection control, and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, hazardous materials, and equipment (SDS standards).

• Team Collaboration: Maintain positive, respectful relationships with co-workers, clinical staff, residents, and family members.

• Other Duties: Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services or Facility Administrator.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience: Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or commercial laundry experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.

• Key Traits: Detail-oriented, reliable, proactive, and compassionate with a strong work ethic.

• Reliability: Ability to maintain a reliable early-morning schedule (6:00 AM start time) and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull cleaning/laundry carts throughout the shift.
