Express is seeking Industrial Painter candidates for our Reading area client! This is a bus line accessible position that offers room to grow and a fast paced environment! Industrial Painter Pay: $20.00-24.00/hour based upon experience Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more! Shift: 1st shift (6AM-2:30PM) Monday-Friday - Plus Overtime - Also hiring for 2nd shift Location: Reading, PA Responsibilities of the Industrial Painter: Knowledge of industrial materials. Ability to demonstrate adherence to inventory protocol and other procedures. Clean equipment and work areas and dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate, legal manner. Buff and wax completed paint work. Set up portable equipment, such as ventilators, exhaust units, ladders, or scaffolding. Apply primer over any repairs made to surfaces. Polish materials, workpieces, or finished products. Prepare surfaces for finishing. Mix ingredients to create specific finishes. Mix paints to color specifications or original colors, stirring or thinning paints using spatulas or power mixing equipment. Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters. Sand and apply sealer to properly dried finish. Apply protective or decorative finishes to workpieces or products. Operate painting or coating equipment. Qualifications of the Industrial Painter: Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Experience with the automotive field is a huge plus! Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Advanced understanding and use of power tools, as well as manufacturing tools such as sanders Ability to use a Dual Action (DA) sander.
